Rethinking What It Means to Be a Man: A Young Man’s Perspective from Rural Honduras

My name is Elvin Pérez, a scholarship student and leader at educate., and I come from a rural mountain community in Chinda, Santa Bárbara. In my community, many young men grow up without access to spaces where they can truly be heard, but educate. is a space that helps break those patterns, promote respect, and build healthier relationships within the community. I hope my story helps others better understand the work educate. does and the powerful impact it has on our lives.
