As followers of this page will know, we have spent the past four years working to set up and grow educate.’s work in Honduras, and it has been an incredibly exciting journey.
This month, we have been selected to join the GlobalGiving Accelerator! GlobalGiving is a platform that will give us access to trainings, corporate sponsors and matched funding opportunities. In short, it’s a big opportunity for a grassroots NGO such as ourselves! But to pass the Accelerator, we have just two and a half weeks to raise at least $5,000.
We are raising money to open a Youth Centre that will provide 100+ young leaders with educational opportunities and trainings. Our goal is to bring young people together for global citizenship workshops, community events, and peer-to-peer mentorship and tutoring. In a country deeply affected by political and social crises, we believe in the power of young people to drive long-lasting change in their communities.

2. Join the Westerpark Run for a CausE
On September 25th in Amsterdam, we are organizing the Westerpark Run for a Cause, a run where 100% of ticket sales will contribute to this goal! There are 5K and 10K routes, plus a “Fun Run” where you can run in a costume, and of course there are prizes to be won. To get your tickets, head to our Eventbrite page.
3. Help spread the word!
