THE ROLE
educate. is a grassroots non-profit organisation that works to empower children and young people in Honduras through supporting community-driven projects focused on education. We work with communities in Honduras, one of the poorest and most unequal countries in Latin America, to run a scholarship programme that gives high-potential youth from low-income backgrounds the chance to go to university, and we work with schools in these communities to run community-driven projects focused on education, such as starting school libraries and school-based nutrition centres. We believe in the importance of local leadership and working against the non-profit sectors unequal power relationships.
Part of our team is based in Amsterdam, where one of our main roles is raising funds. We are looking for passionate, detail-oriented individuals to help us research, find and put together grant applications that can help take our work in Honduras to the next level.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Committment
5-8 hours per week on average. Team meetings on Thursday evenings from 6:30-8pm. We are looking for someone who can commit for at least 6-8 months.
