Andrea Torrens: Grants Team Manager
Originally from Spain, Andrea has a background in International Relations and has conducted fieldwork in Colombia. She moved to Amsterdam to study for her Master’s and is currently working there while collaborating with educate.
Hanis Shamsul-Béné: Grant Writer
Hanis is a project manager working in the non-profit sector who is passionate about helping people in vulnerable situations to improve their lives. She is Malaysian-French and is a “third culture kid”. She holds a Master’s degree in Conflict, Security and Development from the University of Birmingham.
Matilde Ferretti: Grant Writer
Growing up between Brussels and Rome, Matilde moved to Amsterdam in 2019 to pursue her studies. She recently completed her Bachelors in Political Science at the University of Amsterdam, and is now working as an intern in the fair trade sector. She is passionate about human rights and driving sustainable development through local leadership!
