Communications Team


The educate. communications team focuses on spreading the philosophy and mission of educate. and widening our community through consistent and engaging content. Reaching out via all forms of communication, such as social media, Public Relations, blogs and out team of ambassadors we aim to update and provide knowledge on our achievements, future goals and communities in Honduras.

Laura is originally from the UK and is currently living and working in Utrecht. She has a Masters in International Criminology and a background in volunteering in the education and youth justice sector.

Nidia lives in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. She graduated from the Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana (UNITEC) with bachelor degree in Graphic Design in 2019. She is enthusiastic about volunteering work and currently works with us from Honduras as a graphic designer.

Vania Suazo is a dynamic professional who moved to the Netherlands with her partner and son. She holds a bachelor’s in Journalism. She has a love for education. Vania owns an early learning center in Roatan, Honduras.

Florencia comes from Mexico where she studied a BSc in Nutrition. She moved to the Netherlands to pursue a MSc in Health Food Innovation Management and has been working here ever since. Believing that education is the key for a better tomorrow, Florencia is happy to work with educate as our Ambassadors Programme Coordinator.

A French national recently relocated to Amsterdam from London, Marion joined educate. in January 2021. She has a keen interest in sustainable development and is glad to be supporting educate. ‘s outstanding work through media relations activities and public engagement in the Netherlands and Europe overall. Marion holds a Master’s degree in Institutional and Corporate Communications from the University of Paris La Sorbonne.

My name is Mona, I am an Egyptian/Dutch 2nd year Communication Science student at the VU in Amsterdam. I find great joy in creativity & arts and am excited to be part of educate’s creative PR team. My dream is to become an art therapist for underprivileged children in the Middle East. The children are our future!
