We are a volunteer-driven NGO supporting community-driven work in Honduras. Working internationally across the UK, The Netherlands and Honduras, we are seeking someone who can support and advise on effective legal organisational structuring.
educate. is a grassroots non-profit organisation that works to empower children and young people in Honduras through supporting community-driven initiatives focused on education. We have a team in Amsterdam and a team in Honduras, and currently we have two legal entities (one in Scotland and one in The Netherlands). Our operations are growing substantially, and we recognize the need for a more effective legal structure going forward to effectively manage this growth in the long-term.
We are seeking someone with a legal background who can support us in this process, and advise us on the best path to take. We have, for instance, considered the option of connecting our various entities through an umbrella entity, but we need guidance to better understand the implications and processes behind this, as well as handling employment structures when multiple legal entities are involved.
